Originally printed for a solo photography exhibition at Seaport Village, San Diego, and subsequently shown at multiple arts events. 

From A Walk Among Gods (2016) — a series in which poets submitted original verse and visuals were created as a direct response to their words.

Ada Powers submitted the poem "My Body" while amidst her transition from Adam. The verse includes lines such as "angles slowly giving way to curves… a merging of lithe form and liminality."

This is the only work in the series where the poet both wrote the verse and modeled for the photographic response. Shot in Ada's own bedroom, the image was made to emerge from her personal space — not a studio, not a set.
