Carmel Valley — Original Fine Art Canvas Print, 48 × 36 in.

$3,500.00

The sole remaining print from the original exhibition run.

Commissioned for Nadia Vaad's jewelry line, which integrates meaningful words rendered in Farsi. The piece worn in the image reads ماشاءالله — Mashallah — a phrase meaning "what God has willed," commonly used to express admiration or gratitude.

The shoot was made on a rainy day in Carmel Valley, San Diego, after the photo assistant canceled at the last minute. The original capture came back severely underexposed and was nearly discarded. What you're looking at is the result of an extensive post-production resurrection — a photograph that almost didn't exist.
